OLYMPIC PENINSULA AIR AFFAIRE

August 31 (Saturday) & September 1 (Sunday) 2013

    

The Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire will be held at Sequim Valley Airport on Saturday August 31 & Sunday September 1, 2013 (Labor Day Weekend) to celebrate the City of Sequim’s Centennial and Sequim Valley Airport’s 30th Anniversary. This day will include a few Hot Air Balloons and the history of Aviation in Sequim. Hot Air Balloons will launch around 7 am both days. This event will feature aircraft static displays, vendors, kid activities, classic auto displays, music and more. Food will be available.

The Olympic Peninsula Air Affaire was originally planned for August 17  but was moved  to August 31 and September 1 to combine with a few Hot Air Balloon launches which will better enhance the Event.

RC Airplane Event and Fun Fly

Saturday September 14, 2013  10 am to 4 pm at Sequim Valley Airport

Remote control aircraft flying and static displays. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Hospice. The 2012 Event raised $1800. for Hospice.

The Young Eagles Events in 2012 summer were a huge success.  On August 11 we flew 36 Young Eagles and there were lots of smiles and happy kids, parents, pilots, and ground crew.
